Ambiance atmosphere
Spring is here and if you’ve been away for the winter months, we’d love to invite you back to Tide Tables or Hollyhock Café! The trees are in bloom, the sun is shining and we have just the location to enjoy both while watching the river boats pass.
It’s only a short escape from the hustle and bustle of London so don’t forget Richmond is easily accessible by London Underground, Overground and Southwest Trains as well as a huge number of buses. Once you reach Richmond, head straight for Richmond Bridge, only a few minutes away, and Tide Tables is nestled in the arch beneath. Looking for Hollyhock? Stop in a ask for a free local map!

Great coffee, great music, great food. Warm and friendly atmosphere. The sort of place you can hang out all day for the price of a cup of coffee. Great place if you’re alone or with friends. Watch out though, we get very crowded on sunny days.

We have a huge range of herbal teas, fairtrade gourmet coffee, as well as freshly squeezed organic juices and smoothies.
All our milk is organic, too. Not to mention the wine and beer

We are passionate about the environment and animal welfare so many of our products are organic or Fairtrade.
The food is all vegetarian, and there are vegan and gluten-free dishes, too.
Beautiful Popina tarts; vegetable lasagne; jacket potatoes; pies; vegetable and bean chilli with brown rice; hearty salads – that should give you a taster of the delicious food you can enjoy with us.

Our location
Great spot
The cafe is in a converted arch beneath Richmond Bridge. We have a large garden with three majestic Plane trees. The views of the Thames are some of the best in London.

Surounding nature
It is undoubtedly one of the best spots in Richmond and you’ll find people out in the garden all year round. Because we are right on the Thames Path, lots of people take a break from their walk and stop in for refreshments.

We are also just by the embarkation point for boats to Hampton Court, and for boats that head to the city during the summer months.
