This was the first year that Tide Tables cafe has been a part of Richmond’s annual On The Edge world music festival. Despite the inclement weather, musicians serenaded customers at the cafe, much to the delight of diners and passers-by. We had duo ‘One Man Down’ who attracted a lot of attention with their renditions of greek and russian folk tunes on the mandolin and guitar and Anna Larkin who sang some wonderful Irish ballads, plus Catherine Whyte on the Japanese bamboo flute, Guy Padfield on the autoharp and songstress Liz Arcane.
